History

Isabel Neville, Duchess of Clarence, was the older sister of Anne Neville, Queen of England in the late 15th century. Despite opposition from King Edward IV, Isabel married his brother, the Duke of Clarence, in a secret ceremony in France. Isabel’s namesake vest was inspired by the traditional corsets and hooped skirts of her time, while its capped sleeves reflect the freedom she favored in her wardrobe.

Offering easy protection with endless style, this cap-sleeved peplum vest allows unlimited freedom no matter the conditions.  Named for the 15th-century duchess who chose love over the English crown, this striking vest – luxuriously crafted from lamb’s leather – can be worn layered or on its own for maximum freedom.
